Akamkpa Local Government Council was abuzz with excitement and gratitude on Friday, 21st March 2025 as the Executive Chairman, Hon. (Hon) Felix Akposi, KSJI marked his first 100 days in office with a heartfelt thanksgiving service at the Local Government Council.

The Chairman in his keynote address, reflected on his journey since assuming office. “These first 100 days have been a testament to the power and faith of the community”. “Every decision made and every initiative launched is a reflection of his guidance and the collective effort of our dedicated team”.

He also expressed gratitude for the support he has received from his fellow council members and the community. ” We are not just a government; we are a family”, communication and teamwork are paramount and I am proud to work alongside individuals who share a vision of progress. The event was attended by dignitaries in the state, community leaders, spiritual leaders and residents, highlighting the spirit of unity and collaboration that the Chairman aims to foster in his administration.

In a spirited heartfelt invocation by Rev. Fr. Dr Joseph Obaina Agbor, Sacred Heart Cathedral Administrator, Calabar, emphasised the importance of gratitude, community and service.

Several Community leaders and stakeholders shared their testimonials during the event, praising the chairman’s proactive approach to matters.

This celebration is not just about reflecting on the past days; it’s about looking ahead for the future, The Chairman stated during his closing remark.

As the event concluded, attendees left with a renewed sense of community spirit and Hope for the journey ahead under the leadership of Hon. Chief Felix Akposi’s Leadership.
