Chief Dennis Nyong Effiong has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the Governor of Cross River State, His Excellency Sen Prince Bassey Edet Otu, following his appointment as a member of the management team of the Cross River Estate Limited (CREL). In a statement, Chief Effiong expressed his deep gratitude to the Governor for the trust and confidence bestowed upon him, emphasizing the importance of this strategic move for the state’s economic and developmental agenda.

Chief Effiong lauded the Governor for his visionary leadership in reclaiming the ownership of CREL, Uyanga – Akamkpa LGA. “Let me not labour you with the details of the state of the estate but this decisive action by Governor Otu is a testament to the age-old wisdom that only the owner of a property truly knows how to best care for it,” he remarked. “The state’s reclamation of the estate is a significant step towards restoring its former glory and unlocking its full potential for the benefit of all Cross Riverians.”

Chief Effiong assured Governor Otu and the people of Cross River State of his unwavering dedication to his new role. He pledged to work diligently and collaboratively with the rest of the management team to implement strategies that will revitalize the estate. “Our primary goal is to transform the estate into a model of efficiency, productivity, and profitability,” he stated.

Chief Effiong also emphasized the broader implications of the estate’s revival for the state’s economy. “The rejuvenation of the Cross River Estate Limited is poised to create numerous job opportunities, boost local industries, and enhance the state’s revenue base,” he noted. “This will significantly contribute to the socio-economic development of our state and improve the livelihoods of our people.”
