Disclosing current revenue figures as at November 2025, The Director General reported a figure of ₦2,355,163,000, a record breaking figure of total collections in a year since inception. He attributed this achievement to the Governor’s commitment to land reforms and business-friendly policies, laws, and bills made available by the Cross River State House of Assembly.

Hon. Nsemo commended the CRGIA Management led by Mr. William Archibong Jnr for their exceptional performance, noting that the periodic Review Performance Exercises carried out by the House Committee are aimed at building collaboration and communication within the system of government. He thanked His Excellency for his people-oriented land reforms and also thanked the Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, for his continuous support towards land reforms bills. He thanked His Excellency for the recent constitution of the Management team which has charted a clear path for the Agency and continues to support the Director General as he steers the affairs of the Agency back to its glory days as currently being witnessed in the Agency’s performance.

Hon. Omang C. Omang added that the Committee acknowledges the efforts of CRGIA in ensuring that the State maximizes its revenue potential. He noted that during their previous visit to the Agency earlier in the year, the Agency’s revenue performance profile was low, but he applauded the Management of the Agency for their remarkable performance, despite previous challenges, and assured them of the Committee’s continued support.

Mr. Jesam Iwara, Director of Operations, commended the House committee for their visit and emphasized that CRGIA, as the Repository Data bank of the State for Lands Record in Cross River State mandated by Law, is always ready and willing to join hands with other institutions of Government for the betterment of the state. He also highlighted the challenge of interference of the Agency’s responsibility by another MDAs, which is a major distraction adding that time spent dealing with these issues could be spent doubling or tripling the revenue figures currently being applauded.

Also speaking, the Director of Marketing, Mr. Asuquo Eyibio, attributed the Agency’s productivity to the immense support of Governor Otu and the exceptional leadership of the DG, thanking the committee for their continued support to the Agency .

In closing remarks, Mr. Archibong thanked His Excellency, Governor Sen. Prince Bassey Otu, for creating an enabling environment that has allowed CRGIA to thrive, and the Speaker of the Cross River State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Elvert Ayambem, and Chairman, Cross River State House of Assembly Committee on Lands, Hon. Stanley Nsemo, for their continued support and guidance. He added that CRGIA is committed to continuing to work tirelessly to ensure that the Agency contributes significantly to the growth and development of Cross River State.

Also present at the meeting were Deputy Director and head of Administration, Mr. Eyo Cobham, and Head Planning, Research and Statistics, Mr. Joseph Edor.
