LEGENDS, LEGACY, AND THE LIGHT AHEAD: THE 2025 VALEDICTORY OF LOURDES ACADEMY

The atmosphere was electric, hearts were full, and the walls of Lourdes Academy seemed to hum with pride and promise as the 2025 graduating class took their final bow. It was not merely a farewell, it was a standing ovation to resilience, excellence, and the enduring spirit of community. With tassels turned and dreams ignited, each graduate walked across that stage not merely as a student, but as an icon of hope for tomorrow, a testament to years of nurture, discipline, and an incredible faith in possibility.

But while the students shone bright, the school did not forget the unsung heroes behind these rising stars, the parents. Lourdes Academy, with grace and gratitude, paid glowing tributes to those extraordinary mothers and fathers who entrusted not one, not two, but sometimes five or more children into the school’s care over the years. These were not ordinary guardians; they were called what they truly are, Legends. Their unwavering trust was the wind beneath the Academy’s wings, and their loyalty spoke volumes of the institution’s value.

Indeed, as the saying goes, “When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind.” Lourdes Academy has long been rooted in values that matter especially, integrity, academic rigor, moral fortitude, and spiritual grounding. The fruits? Young men and women who don’t just chase success but embody significance.

In a world that is ever-changing and often uncertain, one truth remains steady: “It takes a village to raise a child.” And Lourdes Academy is more than a school. It is that village, that compass, that family. Little wonder the wise say, “The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth.” At Lourdes, every child is not only embraced, they are empowered.
