My message of appreciation to the good people of Akamkpa Local Government Area

As I stand at this juncture, deeply humbled by the opportunity to serve, my heart overflows with gratitude to God, who has guided every step of this journey. With unwavering faith, I begin this mission to serve Akamkpa in the spirit of humility and dedication, inspired by my guiding mantra: “Serve the People” (Mark 10:45). My mission is clear: to passionately advocate for the rights of our people, to promote sustainable development, and to uphold the values that foster peace and prosperity for all.

I extend my profound thanks to His Excellency, Sen. Prince Bassey Edet Otu, Governor of Cross River State, whose steadfast support and visionary leadership serve as a beacon for my own. Under his guidance, I am inspired to align my efforts with his policy direction to bring about meaningful transformation in Akamkpa. Together, we are committed to uplifting our communities and ensuring that the dividends of democracy reach every citizen.

My deepest appreciation goes to my beloved wife, Mrs. Glory Felix Akposi, for her encouragement, resilience, and unwavering support. Her strength has been my anchor, and her dedication to our shared mission is invaluable. She stands beside me, a partner in both life and service, ready to contribute to the well-being of our people in Akamkpa.

I am also sincerely grateful to Barr. Alphonsus Eba, the APC State Chairman, and his executive team for their immense support. Their dedication to the vision and values of our great party is a testament to true leadership. I pledge to work hand-in-hand with the APC leadership to champion the ideals of good governance, transparency, and service to the people.

To the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ironbar, thank you for your guidance and strategic counsel throughout this campaign. Your insights have been instrumental in shaping our roadmap for Akamkpa’s development. I look forward to continuing our collaboration to ensure our shared goals are achieved.

Special appreciation goes to the Campaign Council, led by Ntufam Raphael Ntui, the Chapter Chairman, and Mr. Christian Lawrence Attah, our Campaign DG. Your tireless efforts, dedication, and commitment have been the driving force behind our success. I am privileged to have worked with a team that understands the needs of our people and tirelessly advocates for their welfare.

My heartfelt thanks also go to the chapter executive, my Ward, the ten elected councillors, and the remarkable women who rallied their strength and spirit to make this campaign a success. Your teamwork and unity have shown what we can achieve together. I am honoured to represent such a dedicated and inspiring group of people.

I extend my appreciation to the youth of Akamkpa and the nine other wards for their enthusiasm and support. Their energy and commitment fuel our efforts and remind us that we are building a future for the next generation. My pledge to you is that I will work tirelessly to create opportunities that empower our youth and foster their potential.

Finally, I am profoundly grateful to the good people of Akamkpa for entrusting me with this responsibility. It is your hope, resilience, and faith that drive my commitment to serve. Together, we will build a community where education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic growth are accessible to all.

As my take home message, I pledge to work in alignment with the policy direction of our state leadership and remain guided by integrity, accountability, and a dedication to the betterment of every resident. With God’s grace and our collective efforts, we will transform Akamkpa into a community that stands strong in unity, prosperity, and progress. Thank you all for your support.

Hon. (Ophot) Felix Akposi KSJI
Chairman,
Akamkpa Local Government Council.
