He further noted that these priorities were grounded in principles of transparency, accountability, and inclusive growth.

The chairman outlined his administration’s mission, stating, “Our mantra, inspired by Mark 10:45, is simple yet powerful: ‘Serve the People.’ We are committed to advocating for the rights and needs of our people, empowering local communities through sustainable agricultural development, quality education, accessible healthcare, and strategic partnerships, while promoting peace and security.”

Hon. Akposi also pledged to ensure open governance, emphasising that all budget allocations and expenditures would be publicly disclosed to foster accountability. He highlighted plans to enhance infrastructure, including road development and local economic initiatives, to stimulate trade and connectivity.

He stressed the importance of investing in youth empowerment through education, vocational training, and scholarships, while promising initiatives such as irrigation schemes to support year-round farming and enhance food security.

Addressing security, he called on youths to shun violence, assuring the community of his commitment to strengthening community policing and fostering peacebuilding initiatives.
