Recognising the challenges of the region’s rugged terrain, CSP Bassey Usen lauded the initiative, underscoring its significance in enhancing security.

> “Navigating this terrain is no easy task, yet the Chairman has demonstrated exceptional leadership in ensuring that this police division becomes a reality. We fully support this project and its long-term benefits,” he remarked.

With the Oban Police Division on the verge of commissioning, Hon. Akposi’s administration reaffirms its dedication to safeguarding Akamkpa II, bolstering security infrastructure, and addressing the unique challenges of border communities.
