The gesture was warmly received, signifying his unwavering dedication to uplifting the socio-economic wellbeing of his people.

Speaking during the occasion, Hon. Akposi expressed that the Christmas season serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of sharing and staying connected to one’s roots. “Coming home to my people is to make them understand that I have not created a gap between myself and them,” he remarked. “This goes to affirm my Christmas message of not forgetting the period of your little beginning. We must do our best for our people to create an environment conducive to grow in businesses, artisanal endeavours, and agriculture.”

The visit showcased Hon. Akposi’s philosophy of leadership rooted in empathy and community engagement. His actions reflected a deep understanding of the essential role of grassroots empowerment in fostering development and unity among his constituents.

In response, Obol Paulinus Ogar, the village head of Ojor, expressed profound gratitude for the Chairman’s thoughtfulness and magnanimity. “One thing you said that pricked my conscience is your position of making life better for your people without segregation,” he stated. “I hold you in great respect and love. Your actions give the people a sense of belonging, and we are deeply appreciative.”

The visit and its attendant acts of kindness have been lauded as a testament to Hon. Akposi’s enduring commitment to the ideals of service and humanity. By choosing to celebrate Christmas with his people in such a meaningful way, he reinforced the principle of leadership as service and the importance of nurturing bonds with one’s roots.

As the Yuletide season unfolds, Hon. Felix Akposi’s gesture serves as a clarion call to other leaders to emulate such acts of selflessness and community-driven leadership, ensuring that no individual is left behind in the pursuit of collective growth and prosperity.
